About Plain English SA Forms
Plain English SA Forms is an independent South African resource. We translate government processes — Home Affairs, SARS, UIF, SASSA, road licensing, CIPC, immigration and municipal admin — into plain-English step-by-step guides, and offer free editable Word templates for the letters and affidavits ordinary South Africans need every day.
We are not a government body. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with any government department. Where the law says a form must be submitted on an official website or at an official office, we link you there — we do not accept submissions ourselves.
Our editorial approach
- Every guide cites the official source (SARS, DHA, SASSA, DEL, CIPC, SAPS).
- We use short sentences, no legalese, and checklists you can print.
- We mark fees and processing times that change often with a visible reminder to verify.
- We do not collect fees for anything a government department provides for free.
